Schlass éditions se veut une maison de micro-édition et de livre d'artiste / de la recherche design autour de l'objet editorial / des artistes aux compétences et à la curiosité aiguisées / de l'expérimentation qui tabasse !
Ce rassemblement de talents Mulhousien tous indépendants est né d'une envie de travailler ensemble autour de projet personnel mis en commun.
Le but est de rassembler toutes nos pratiques et expériences pour créer et promouvoir des projets hors du commun. Cela dans un milieu de la micro-édition et de l'édition d'art toujours en ébullition. Nous aimerions mettre en avant ce médium dans le Haut-Rhin.
Schlass Édition c'est 7 membres fondateurs avec leurs univers et leurs collection propres, prêts à entrer en collision. Ainsi ce petit comité que nous formons se charge de questionner chaque projet et d'aider à sa réalisation.
L'éthique que promeut l'association est aussi celle de la fabrication locale et artisanale de qualité : de sa conception à sa réalisation. Ce sont les membres de l'association qui impriment et fabriquent autant que possible chaque projet. Dans une optique parallèle nous nous engageons à rétribuer les auteurs de manière juste, étant nous-même en première ligne face à ces questionnements au quotidien.
Passionnés par le croisement des disciplines et chauffés à blanc on surine à coup d'oeuvres acérées.
Les membres de l'associtiation :
Iva Šintić : Artiste plasticienne, designer, illustratrice et auteure de séries de micro-éditions. Elle à étudié à l'Academie des beaux-arts de l'Université de Zagreb et a l'Université d'Ulster en Irlande du Nord. Son travail crée régulièrement un rapport entre l'espace physique et l'espace mental et leur interférence. Elle est à l'origine du livre superposition. alittlebitof.space
Julie Wittich : Designer couleur, designer graphique et façonneuse, elle a été formée à l'ESAL- Epinal et à l'ISCID. Elle conçoit livres et espaces en freelance depuis son atelier de Motoco à Mulhouse. Elle a fédéré tous les membres de l'association, motivée par son amour du bel ouvrage et de la micro-édition. @julie_wittich
Mathias Zieba : Travaille entre Mulhouse, Strasbourg et Genève. Compétent en design, typographie et en création plastique depuis la fin de son cursus au sein de la Hear Mulhouse (2010) et de la HEAD Genève (2012). lesechoir.fr/mathiaszieba
David Allart : Artiste indépendant installé au Séchoir Mulhouse. Il répond à des commandes de graphisme, d’illustration et d’impression d’art en sérigraphie et lithographie. davidallart.com
Lisa Jaeggy : Artiste céramiste issue de l'Institut européen des Arts Céramiques et illustratrice. Actuellement, elle exerce dans son atelier au Séchoir. @lisajaeggy
Jacques Lopez : Artiste plasticien et sérigraphe il collabore avec de nombreux artistes de la région dans la réalisation de projets de sérigraphie, d'art numérique et d'éditions dans l'atelier PRITOCO. @jacquesmade
Marie Primard : Formée en vannerie d'Art suite à une pratique textile et plastique au sein de la HEAR Mulhouse elle vit et travaille à Mulhouse, membre fondatrice dans le Collectf Tête de Bois. @primardmarie
Schlass éditions is a micro-publishing and artist's book house/design research around the editorial object/artists with sharpened skills and curiosity/experimentation that hits the spot!
This gathering of Mulhousian talent, all independent, was born from a desire to work together around personal projects brought in common.
The goal is to bring together all our practices and experiences to create and promote extraordinary projects. This is an environment of micro-publishing and art publishing always in a state of effervescence. We would like to promote this medium in the Upper Rhine.
Schlass Edition is 7 founding members with their own universes and their own collections are ready to collide, so this small committee that we form is responsible for questioning each project and help in its realization.
The ethics that the association promotes are also that of local and artisanal quality manufacturing: from its conception to its realization. It is the members of the association who print and manufacture as much as possible each project. In a parallel perspective, we commit ourselves to pay the authors in a fair way, being ourselves in the front line of these questions on a daily basis.
Impassioned by the crossing of the disciplines and heated to white we shiv with sharp works.
Members of the association :
Iva Šintić: Visual artist, designer, illustrator and author of micro-publishing series. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of Zagreb and at the University of Ulster in Northern Ireland. Her work regularly creates a relationship between physical and mental space and their interference. She is the originator of the book superposition. alittlebitof.space
Julie Wittich: Color designer, graphic designer and bookbinder, she was formed at the ESAL- Epinal and at the ISCID. She designs books and spaces on a freelance basis from her Motoco workshop in Mulhouse. She federated all the members of the association, motivated by her love of beautiful books and micro-publishing. @julie_wittich

Lisa Jaeggy : Ceramic artist from the European Institute of Ceramic Arts and illustrator. She currently works in her studio at Le Séchoir. @lisajaeggy
Jacques Lopez : Visual artist and silk-screen printer, he collaborates with many artists of the local area in the realization of projects of silk-screen printing, digital art and editions in the workshop PRITOCO. @jacquesmade
Marie Primard : Trained in Basketry Art following a textile and plastic practice within the HEAR Mulhouse she lives and works in Mulhouse, a founding member in the Collectif Tête de Bois. @primardmarie
